In the United States, food waste is estimated between 30-40 percent of food supply. Supermarkets, restaurants, and consumers are responsible for majority of the food waste.​

We use frozen foods which helps reduce food waste. Frozen food stays nutritious and fresh no matter the season.  The nutritional value of frozen fruits and vegetables is equal to – and in some cases better – than fresh-stored produce.

With a longer shelf life and ability to pre-portion, frozen meals, and ingredients are a food waste solution.

Plant Forward Living​

What is ‘Plant-Forward’? A plant forward diet showcases vegetables, fruits, and grains but doesn’t necessarily eliminate all animal-based foods.  
Plant-forward is a dietary approach that changes the proportion of plant and animal ingredients used on menus to increase the emphasis on plants. ​

You may be wondering why decreasing meat in your diet has a positive impact on the environment. It is the production of meat for consumption that is the culprit for the negative impact on the environment.​

To be clear, eating more plant-forward and sustainably does not necessarily mean being a vegan, or even a vegetarian.

Sustainable Packaging and Shipping​

Our insulated liners are made from plants (corn starch). ​​

The cardboard box is 100% curbside recyclable.
The dry ice used during shipping is made from reclaimed Co2 and dissipates back into Co2 over time making it carbon-neutral.
